The Indiana Pacers are heading overseas—for next year’s preseason.

The NBA announced Tuesday that the Pacers would play two October preseason games in Asia.

On Oct. 10, the blue and gold will take on the Houston Rockets in Manila, Philippines, at the Mall of Asia Arena. Three days later, on Oct. 13, the two teams will again square off at Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan.

This marks the third overseas trip for the Pacers. In 1996, they played in Berlin, Germany, and Seville, Spain. In 2009, the team tipped off for games in Taipei and Beijing, China.

“I’ve heard so often that NBA basketball is very popular in the Philippines,” said owner Herb Simon. “This is an opportunity to bring both basketball to and to visit this wonderful country. And, of course we are excited to revisit Taiwan where we were treated warmly and had a great visit in 2009.”

Center Roy Hibbert has fond memories of the team’s 2009 trip.

“I can’t wait to travel with my teammates for these two games and be ambassadors for the NBA,” Hibbert said. “Taking NBA basketball to the Philippines for the first time is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and the last time we had a great visit to Taiwan and I’m really looking forward to going back. The fans there were great.”
