Indiana man dies after crashing snowmobile

COLUMBIA CITY – A man died after crashing his snowmobile in Whitley County in northeastern Indiana.

According to investigators, Justin Hinen, 21, Columbia City, ran into a wire fence around a livestock pasture. Hinen had intentionally taken his snowmobile off-road to travel across a field. Another snowmobile driver accompanying him saw the crash and called 911.

Hinen died from apparent blunt force trauma to the neck and was pronounced dead around 2 a.m. Wednesday.

    Myidzmom you are totally right. A kid was trespassing on a family members farm and caught a wire cable around his neck while riding an ATV. The kid and his parents were told repeatedly to stay off the field it was private property. Kids parents sued and won.
