A quick weekend warm-up will feel nice.

Brief weekend warm-up will give way to Sunday and Monday rain.  For the first time yesterday we hit 40 degrees this month.  We could hit 50 today here in Indianapolis.  It will not be likely in the city but possible in places like Bloomington.  Temperatures will continue to go up on Sunday with Sunday highs in the upper 50s!

Rain will be possible today for places in Northwest Indiana.  The rain chances will grow to most of the state for Sunday night into Monday morning.  A thin line of storms could set-up along the cold front as it passes on Monday morning.  No severe weather is expected at this time.

Mild weather returns as we get into the work week with Tuesday and Wednesday highs struggling to hit 40 degrees.  There will be another chance for rain on Thursday.  Of note this week on Monday the daily average temperature average hits 50 degrees.  It’s just another reminder that we don’t have a lot of cold days left this winter.
