Cloud-based service provider adding jobs in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (March 12, 2013) – TinderBox, Inc., a sales and marketing software solutions provider, announced plans today to expand its operations here, creating up to 95 new jobs by 2016.

“High-tech, high-wage jobs at a homegrown company is the latest positive momentum for our economy,” said Governor Mike Pence. “More than anything else, job growth depends on building a pro-business environment, and TinderBox’s decision reaffirms that Indiana is a place where high-tech business makes sense.”

TinderBox plans to invest $540,000 to grow its cloud-based platform business in Indianapolis. The homegrown-Hoosier company is actively hiring sales, client success and support, software development and product development positions. Interested applicants can apply at

Launched in 2010 in Indianapolis, TinderBox provides software for sales and marketing teams to accelerate the customer acquisition process. The company entered the market as a proposal management platform that offered a method to reduce the time, inconsistency and uncertainty associated with sales proposals. Today, TinderBox services clients such as Angie’s List, Dominion Dealer Solutions and Delivra with a comprehensive management solution for marketing and sales content, including proposals, sales presentations and contracts.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered TinderBox, Inc. up to $1,375,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $55,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. The city of Indianapolis will consider additional property tax abatement at the request of Develop Indy.
