Despite having a bye in the MAC tournament, the Ball State Cardinals (15-15) season ended Wednesday night with a 76-61 loss to Buffalo (14-19).

Even though Ball State built a 36-26 lead with 1:39 left in the first half and 28-points from Jauwan Scaife, the Cardinals managed to let the game slip away down the stretch.

Buffalo’s Will Regan played a large role in that, hitting five three-pointers and finishing with a game-high 36 points.
