Cost to tear down old terminal less than originally predicted

It will cost less than planned to tear down the old Indianapolis International Airport.

Our partners at the Indianapolis Business Journal reported Thursday that the airport budgeted $11 million but the project will cost less than $6 million.

The land is being cleared to make way for future development but no one has publicly said why the demolition was pushed up years ahead of schedule.
