BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Butler’s hopes to claim their first and most likely only Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Touranment Championship came up short against a familiar nemesis.

For a third time this season Butler fell to St. Louis, this time losing in the semi-finals of the A-10 tournament 67-56 Saturday afternoon at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Billikens’ guard Dwayne Evans led all scorers with 24 points while Cody Ellis chipped in 13. Rotnei Clarke had 13 for the Bulldogs who were outscored 40-31 in the second half and now will have to wait to see what seed they will get in the NCAA Tournament on Sunday.
