The reigning 4A state champs dominated Merrillville in 4A semi-state. Carmel led by double digits nearly the entire game and won 66-36.  Michael Volovic and James Crowley each had 22 points for the Greyhounds.

“We couldn’t turn the ball over and we had to survive on the boards and I thought we did those things very well today. Plus, we shot the ball well early and got the lead,” said Carmel Head Coach Scott Heady.

“The best feeling. Any Indiana high school player will tell you because not every kid has this oppurtunity and for me to get there twice is just the best feeling in the world,” said Michael Volovic.

The Greyhounds will play Cathedral in the 4A state championship game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on March 23 at 8:15 p.m.
