Investigation underway after toddler life lined to hospital with gunshot wound

Indiana State Police are investigating after a 3-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound was life lined to Riley Children for Hospital at IU Health.

Deputies with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home in the 6300 block of Spearsville Road in Brown County Sunday evening on a report of a shooting.

Police said the gunshot wound was not fatal, but the boy’s condition is unknown.

Authorities said the 3-year-old boy was at a relative’s home at the time of the incident.
