Flyers are being passed around a north side neighborhood in hopes of solving a murder.

Police are now offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the murder of Thomas Tefft.

Tefft was killed Friday morning when a man broke into his home and shot him.

His wife was just feet away but was able to hide from the gunman.

The suspect stole Tefft’s car and took off.

Police are still looking for the car. The black, 2009 Hyundai Sonata has an Indiana Wesleyan license plate with the number IW813.
