Police: Man stabbed at west side gas station

INDIANAPOLIS — Metro Police investigated an early morning stabbing that sent one man to the hospital.

Police responded to the 2300 block of North Moreland Avenue around 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.

When they arrived, a man was found with an apparent stab wound.

He was transported to Wishard Hospital in critical condition, police said.

It’s believed the man was stabbed during an attempted robbery at a gas station at the corner of Lafayette Road and North Tibbs Avenue and somehow made his way to the Moreland Avenue address.
