In the midst of forecasting for the coming snow storm, I got to take a little break and talk to some area boy scouts and their parents Saturday afternoon.  Boy Scout troop 121 from southeastern Indianapolis visited the Fox 59 studio.  The boys were 6-7 years old and 1st graders at Lowell Elementary School.  Here are a few pictures from their time at Fox 59.

The first picture is always a tour favorite, the green screen.  Each of the boys tried their best at pointing at the different towns on the map.

Then I explained how the anchors read the news through the teleprompter and showed the boys the hidden computers in the desktop.

The group was even small enough that the kids were all able to pull up a chair and see how the weather graphics system works.

The kids even pulled up to the weather computers

Thank you troop 121 for coming in today!
