The search for a new superintendent for Carmel Clay Schools is down to three.

The finalists were revealed at the school board meeting Monday. They include Dr. Eric Ban, Dr. Bruce Hibbard and Dr. Mary Ann Dewan.

Ban is the former principal at Crown Point High School and has also been a visiting professor at I.U.

Hibbard is currently the superintendent of New Albany-Floyd County Schools in Southern Indiana. He was previously the assistant superintendent at Washington Township.

Dewan has held several high ranking positions with the Wayne Township school district.

Three public forums will be held for each candidate beginning Tuesday. The last one will be Thursday.

The school board hopes to have the new superintendent announced by next month.
