Historic snow storm brings impressive snowfall totals!

About this snow:

The snow from yesterday and this morning now makes this March 2013: the 5th snowiest March on record (11.5” so far), could be 4th by this afternoon!

Officially 6.2” yesterday marked as a new record for that day (March 24), previous record was 5.8” (1912)

Yesterday’s total was also the third largest single day snowfall for the month of March:

12.1” (1906)

8.1     (2000)

6.2”   (2013)

How much did you get in your county? Based on totals reported, here’s what we’re thinking this storms totals will be by tonight…Obviously, the heaviest fell last night!

    I am just glad we didnt get all that impressive snow fall up north.We got maybe 1 inch of light snow,easy to brush off.

    walk out on my porch and you lose your feet…..cant see them once u step foot on the porch….snow is almost up to the body of my dog in the yard….absolultey ridiculous! not impressed AT ALL! its spring for gods sake!
