Police investigate robbery at credit union

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are investigating after a bank robbery.

Someone robbed the Indiana Members Credit Union at 95 S. Mitthoeffer Rd. around noon Monday.

Police found a pickup truck believed to be involved in the robbery near the 200 block of South Mitthoeffer.

Police said no one was hurt.

    You must be a ambitious criminal to get out in this weather and rob a credit union. Too bad he doesn't use that dedication getting a "real" job. I'm glad that no innocent hard-working people were hurt.

    I was, at the drive up window at 11;50 this morning when the teller had just pulled down the shade and told me sorry they were closed she sounded a little shook up I think back now and I wonder if the two guys were in there at the time I wished I would have known maybe could have helped

      Yes, I am sure that is why they pulled the shade closed. They can't really say anything to other Members, to avoid them getting involved and getting hurt or killed.

    I am thankful no one was hurt. I really feel for them because I worked in a Credit Union a few years ago and we were robbed. It is a bad feeling. Hope they catch them soon.
