Police seek clues in fatal hit-and-run crash

INDIANAPOLIS – A man injured in a hit-and-run crash has died from his injuries, police say.

The crash happened on Sunday, April 14, around 11 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 6300 block of East 21st Street after receiving a 911 call that a man on a motorbike had been hit and was badly injured.

The victim, Erik Lee, 40, Indianapolis, was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in critical condition. He died from his injuries Monday night.

Several witnesses reported seeing a black pickup truck in the area following the crash. Investigators don’t have any additional information, and need help solving the case.
