Flooding concerns in the metro

An areal flood advisory has been issued for the metro of Central Indiana.  Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Morgan and Shelby county are in this advisory until 8 PM.  1 to 1.5″ of rainfall has come down and it’s causing flooding concerns in these counties.  If you see water covering the road, turn around and take a different path.


Here’s a look at the rainfall totals as of 6 PM.



Scattered showers and thunderstorms will pass through Central Indiana again tonight as temperatures hold steady.  But overall, there isn’t a great chance for severe weather tonight or Wednesday.  Thursday is a different story
