Recipes: Candied Walnut and Strawberry Salad

Start with 1/2 cup of walnuts and toss them in a mixture of 1/4 stick of melted butter and 1/2 cup of Brown sugar. Once they’re coated baked them in the oven for 10 minutes at 350

Slice 4 large strawberries

Crumble up 1 ounce of Gorgonzola cheese.

10 oz of mixed field Greens.

In a mixing bowl, toss together all ingredients and place into a serving dish. Lay a couple of strawberry slices, walnuts and Cheese on top for presentation and serve with a Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing.

Optionally add some grilled chicken or fish
