A measure to help Hoosier veterans receive in-state tuition is moving forward.

The Affordable Education Bill is now heading to the governor’s desk

It grants in-state rates to honorably discharged veterans and active duty National Guard members who enroll in one of Indiana’s state college within a year of settling in the state.

Right now, members serving in a different state or country may not qualify for in-state tuition when they get home.
