Man wanted in connection with armed robbery at Mexican restaurant

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a west side Mexican restaurant.

Police said the suspect walked into La Posada, located at 2105 W. Washington Street, in late March, approached the counter and pulled out a large black automatic handgun from a computer bag.  Authorities said he demanded a worker to put money in the bag, before fleeing the scene.

The man is described to be a Hispanic male between the ages of 25 and 30 years old.  He is approximately 5-feet-3-inches tall and 165 to 175 pounds.  He was wearing a blue sweatshirt with the MTV logo on the front and had a dark glove on his right hand.
