A new deck of playing cards will soon be sold in 25 Indiana prisons in an effort to solve dozens of cold cases.

The Indiana Department of Corrections, in partnership with the Indiana State Police and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, released the third edition of the “Indiana Cold Case Homicides Playing Cards.”  The 52 cards, which will be the only decks of cards sold in prison facilities, feature information about an unsolved homicide or missing person case from across the state.

Authorities hope the project will bring awareness to the unsolved cases and encourage offenders to provide information they may have to solve the cases.

If you have information about any case in this deck or a case that does not appear in this deck, please dial the Indiana State Police Hotline 1 (800) 453-4756. Copies of the playing cards may be viewed below.
