Police investigate death at Columbus pub

Columbus Police are investigating the death of Thomas Brazzell of Seymour after he was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of Caddies Pub.

Just before 2 Sunday morning, police say Jacob Tolbert struck Brazzell with his vehicle in the 2700 block of Central Avenue and then fled the scene.

Police found Tolbert a short time later in the 2800 block of 12th street and took him into custody.

Tolbert is preliminarily charged with reckless homicide and leaving the scene of an accident causing death.
