Gov. Mike Pence escaped injury following a minor car crash Thursday morning.

Pence was leaving the Statehouse around 10:30 a.m. on his way to Fort Wayne when the crash happened at Pine and Vermont streets. It appears the other car disregarded a stop sign.

No one was seriously injured in the crash. Pence, who wasn’t driving, switched cars and resumed his trip to Fort Wayne, where he was set to appear at a ceremonial bill signing.

Indiana State Police are investigating the crash.
