Police search for hit-and-run driver after man is seriously injured

Police are requesting the public’s help locating a hit-and-run driver.

David Heady, 46, was seriously injured after he was hit crossing the street.

It  happened at East Morris and South Meridian Streets just before 6 p.m.

Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a 1990’s BMW 3-series. Police said the vehicle likely has damage to the front driver’s side.
