Coroner’s officer rules death of woman homicide

The death of a woman shot at her home on Spann Avenue has been ruled a homicide.

Officers responded to the 911 call just before 7 a.m. Friday and found 24-year-old Jerrica Johnson suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
