Two people were airlifted to Methodist Hospital after the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a car.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s office is investigating a crash that happened just after 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

A Chevrolet Malibu was going east bound on County Road 350 South and was unable to stop at the intersection of State Road 9.

As the Malibu entered the intersection, it hit a 2000 Suzuki Intruder motorcycle.
