The man credited with saving three women who had been held captive for several years has turned into an internet sensation.

Charles Ramsey was sitting down to eat a meal when he heard screams coming from his next door neighbor’s house.

“I’m eating my McDonald’s and I come outside and I see this girl going nuts,” said Ramsey.

A woman, later identified as Amanda Berry, told him she had been held captive for 10 years and desperately needed help.

Ramsey kicked down a door to the home and helped Berry call 911.

“I’m calling 911 for Amanda Berry? I thought this girl was dead,” said Ramsey.

His interview with WEWSTV has become an internet sensation. The most notable portion of the interview happened when Ramsey described his relationship with his neighbor, Ariel Castro.

“You got some big testicles to pull this off, bro,” said Ramsey. “We see this dude every day… I barbecued with this dude. We eat ribs and whatnot and listen to salsa music.”

The interview has even caught the attention of fast food giant McDonald’s:

Meanwhile, the women – Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight – along with a little girl were found inside the home are being cared for at a nearby hospital.

Three men, including Ariel Castro, have been arrested following the discovery.
