Three sought in armed robbery of east side antique store

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating three men wanted in connection with the armed robbery of an east side antique store.

Suspect 1

Police said the men entered the Antiques on the Corner, located at 8444 E. Washington Street, on May 2. The suspects demanded cash from the register and the business’ safe.  Police said the men forced the employees to lie on the floor at gun point, before stealing jewelry and antique coins.

The suspects fled the business in a gold minivan.  The model of the van is unknown.

One of the suspects was described to be a black male, wearing a black stocking cap, red hoodie, red cloth mask, gloves and light-colored cargo pants.

The second suspect was a black male, who was wearing a gray hoodie, dark cargo pants, white gloves and dark shoes with white soles.

The third man was also described to be a black male, wearing a dark green hoodie, gray shorts, a mask, white gloves and shoes that appeared to have a plaid design.
