Barnes & Noble will relocate its north east side store to the space its former competitor once occupied.

The Borders bookstore near Keystone Crossing has been empty since the chain filed for bankruptcy in 2011. All seven of its Indianapolis locations closed, including the site on River Crossing Boulevard.

Barnes & Noble will soon hold a closeout sale at its current location along East 82nd Street.

The new location will hold between 75,000 and 90,000 books.
