A dog that was snatched from a car while its owner sat at a stoplight has been found.

Mary Squires was sitting at the intersection on 56th Street and Georgetown Road on April 20 while her dog Solow was perched on the passenger side window. Three teenagers pulled up in a rundown vehicle and snatched the dog away.

According to Squires, Solow was there one minute, and gone the next. She was so dazed by the quick theft that she couldn’t chase after the thieves.

The Miniature Pinscher was a gift Squires received four years ago from her niece. She said the dog is like her baby now that her children are grown and her grandchildren are in different states.

Since someone took Solow, Squires has been searching for him, posting fliers up around the area in hopes someone will recognize him and help him find his way home.

The family tells Fox 59 that Solow has been found.
