Man charged with kidnapping, rape in Cleveland case

A Cleveland homeowner is facing multiple charges after three once-missing women and a young girl were found inside his home.

Ariel Castro, 52, will be charged with four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape.

Castro was arrested after three women, plus a 6-year-old girl believed to be one of their daughters, escaped Monday evening from his Cleveland home.

Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight had been kept in captivity inside Castro’s home for around 10 years.

Castro’s brothers – Onil and Pedro Castro -aren’t facing charges at this time.
