Dozens arrested at Noblesville’s May Day rock concerts

NOBLESVILLE, Ind.— Indiana State Excise Police arrested 62 people Saturday during the X103 May Day concerts at the Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville.

Eleven juveniles, 37 minors and 14 adults were arrested on a total of 67 charges. Police said 22 people were preliminarily charged with possession of marijuana.  Other charges included illegal possession of an alcoholic beverage and furnishing alcoholic beverages to a minor.

“The Indiana State Excise Police will be a presence at Klipsch Music Center throughout their scheduled events,” Superintendent Matt Strittmatter stated.  “Working in cooperation with the management and employees of Klipsch Music Center, we will continue to promote a safe environment for those attending the music venue through the enforcement of Indiana laws.”

The arrestees were issued summonses to appear in a Hamilton County court at a later date.
