Pennsylvania fire kills six, including four children

POTTSVILLE, PA. — Six people, four of them children died in a deadly blaze in Schuylkill County.

Fire crews said flames started at a home on Pierce Street in Pottsville just before midnight.  Seven people lived in the home.

Firefighters said the floors and roof of the home collapsed. Fire crews were unable to save a two-year-old, a three-year-old, a seven-year-old, and an eight-year-old.  Two adults were also killed.  Authorities said the seventh person, a woman, was not home at the time.
