The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles is admitting that it may have overcharged as many as four million Hoosiers.
A class-action lawsuit has been filed. It claims all drivers under the age of 75 were overcharged as much as $7 when they got a new license or renewed an old one.
In response to the suit, the Bureau admits, “it may have inadvertently overcharged” drivers.
