Two arrested in connection with Westfield home invasion

Police have arrested two people in connection with an apparent home invasion at a Westfield apartment complex that resulted in shots being fired on Wednesday morning.

Adrian Michael Luley, 20, Indianapolis, and Kathyrn A. Hunter, Cicero, were arrested Friday night with help from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department. As of Friday night, they were awaiting transfer to the Hamilton County Jail.

Luley was arrested on preliminary charges of burglary, robbery while armed with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness. Charges against Hunter were burglary and robbery while armed with a deadly weapon.

Around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, police arrived at North Union Apartments on 530 North Union in response to reports of gunfire. Police said a man reported that two suspects entered his apartment and woke him up at gunpoint. The suspects left the apartment, firing several shots before getting into a vehicle and leaving.

The resident was not hurt.
