INDIANAPOLIS – A woman says a man flashed her and continued to follow her as she went shopping at the Fashion Mall.

According to an incident report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the woman was parking her car around 6 p.m. Wednesday when she noticed a man sitting in the driver’s seat of a gray car. She got a “creepy feeling” about the man, according to the report, and moved to another parking space.

When the woman was walking from the garage to the mall entrance, she told police the man followed her and then pulled down his shorts, exposing himself. He was “making eye contact with the victim” and “mumbling,” although the woman couldn’t understand what he was saying, the report said.

The victim warned another female shopper about the man and called 911, but the man was gone by the time police arrived.

At one point, the victim said the man fondled himself before standing and watching her and the other woman. He eventually walked back to the garage, got into his car and drove off. The woman was able to get his license plate number, the report said.

The woman said the suspected flasher had a light complexion and “full, shaggy beard” with dark brown hair that went down to the top of his collar. He in his 20s and 5’9” to 5’11” with khaki shorts and a white baseball cap. The woman also said the man wore a white shirt at first and later changed into a gray shirt with lettering. The man was driving a gray 2008 Hyundai, the report said.
