Flash flood watch issued for portions of Central Indiana

A flash flood watch has been issued for portions of Central Indiana.

Affected counties include Tippecanoe, Montgomery, Parke, Putnam and Owen Counties.

Residents in these counties should be on the lookout for rapidly rising water and flooding. They should also be watching for high water on streets, underpasses and around storm drains.

The watch remains in effect until 8 a.m. Sunday.
