Leaving your car at the airport will soon get easier, thanks to a new customer rewards program and other changes at Indianapolis International Airport.

Airport and city leaders unveiled the parkIND Plus program Monday. The initiative provides benefits for corporate and frequent travelers, including simplified payment options for parking, the ability to earn free parking, access to a special Diamond express lane at the TSA checkpoint and an automated vehicle identification tag to streamline parking.

Other changes include better parking options, improved passenger shuttles and a flat rate of $9 per day for all surface lot parking. New signs will go up throughout the Terminal Garage, Economy Lot and Ground Transportation Center. New digital monitors will offer real-time location shuttle information. New shuttle routes will also be more efficient, reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions, airport officials said.

A Premium Parking option for customers in the Terminal Garage will offer valet and self-park options along with services like car washes, oil changes and other benefits.
