LINTON – The search for a missing Linton teenager has entered its fourth day as police appeal to the public for help.

Katelyn Wolfe, 19, was last heard from around 3 a.m. on Thursday, June 6. Her father reported her missing that afternoon and said she was in the area of C Street NW. He said she was on the phone talking to someone and looking for people to hang out with. No one’s heard from her since, police said.

Investigators said there was nothing to indicate that she wanted to leave town. Police said it’s uncharacteristic for her to go this long without communicating with friends or family.

Wolfe is 5’2” and about 110 pounds with black hair and blue eyes. She may be wearing glasses and was last known to be wearing jeans and a white striped shirt. She also has a nose ring.

Anyone with information should call Greene County Crime Stoppers at (812) 847-5463 or (812) TIP-LINE. The toll-free number is (866) 446-4672. You can also call the Linton Police Department at (812) 847-4411.

A Facebook page has also been created to raise awareness about Wolfe’s disappearance.
