Scattered rain will be around in the midwest through the weekend.

There are plenty of activities, not just for the weekend, but for today here in Indianapolis.  The Marion County Fair begins today at 5pm.  Fireworks, pageants and demonstrations are all scheduled for today.  The first place Indianapolis Indians also return home tonight for a weekend series taking on the Charlotte Knights.  Dave Matthews is also performing in concert tonight and Saturday night at Klipsch Music Center.

The weather looks like it will cooperate with only a small chance for rain over the entire weekend and temperatures in the upper 80s.  It will be hot so places make sure you have lots of water on hand if you’re going to be in the sun for a long time.

Next work week will see more of the same with highs possibly in the 90s on Tuesday through Wednesday.  Scattered to widespread rain will be expected from Tuesday through Thursday.
