The old Visteon plant in Connersville may be sold for just $1. The City Council is trying to make a deal with a new company to use the factory.

Under the agreement, The new company would have to hire 300 workers over the next five years.

Sources say a Minnesota-based cabinet maker is interested.

Carbon Motors had planned to hire 15,000 people and to build high-tech police cars at the plant. That deal fell apart last year, though.
