Police arrest three, seek another for questioning in fatal shooting

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan police have arrested several people in connection with a fatal shooting early Monday morning on the west side.

Police were called to the 800 block of Cloverleaf Terrace around 4:40 a.m. in response to a person shot. They found Bassirou Mahamadou, 33, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Tuesday, police revealed that they’d arrested Jamie Tooley, 20, Joshua Lewis, 22, and a juvenile suspect in connection with the homicide. Investigators seek another man, Chris Rogers, for questioning in the case. Police said Rogers has not been charged.
