Two arrested in connection with fatal shooting of teen on north side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Police have made arrests Wednesday in connection with the murder of a teenager who was shot on the near north side on June 11.

Detectives arrested Jamar Minor, 19, and Jordan Gray, 20, on charges of murder, attempted murder and handgun violations in connection with the death of 19-year-old Damien Williams.

Williams was located in the 2400 block of Guilford Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound. Another man who was shot was located in a nearby residence.

Minor and Gray were transported to the Marion County Jail. Their initial hearing is scheduled for June 27.
