Two Zionsville homes damaged by fire during Tuesday storms

ZIONSVILLE, IND. — Zionsville firefighters had a busy Tuesday night, battling two separate weather-related house fires.

Around 10:45 p.m., a neighbor noticed fire coming from a home in the 9400 block of Greenthread Drive and called 911.

Zionsville firefighters needed about an hour to completely extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported and damage estimates are expected to exceed $100,000.

About an hour later, around 11:45 p.m., firefighters received another 911 call reporting a fire in the 3500 block of Flagstone Drive.

Zionsville and neighboring fire departments discovered a small fire in the attic.

No injuries were reported in this fire and damage to the home is estimates around $7,500.

Both fires appear to be weather related.
