FISHERS, Ind.—A Fishers man was arrested last week on a count of bestiality and six counts of child exploitation following a nearly week-long investigation.

The investigation into 21-year-old Luke Pruitt began after the Hamilton County Metro Child Exploitation Task Force received a tip regarding suspicious activity on the suspect’s computer. Authorities said they also received information that Pruitt allegedly engaged in bestiality and may have had a sexual interest in his infant daughter. However, Pruitt has not been charged with any crimes involving his daughter.

A search of Pruitt’s home and computer confirmed acts of bestiality had taken place, said Fishers police. Investigators also discovered Pruitt was in possession of child pornography.

Pruitt was transported to the Hamilton County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
