INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—The eastbound lanes of 96th Street have reopened following a water main break on the city’s northwest side.

The stretch of approximately 200 feet near Meridian Street was closed until just after 8 p.m. Monday.

Water service has since been restored to the Meridian North complex.

Officials said the cause of the break was due to aging infrastructure.
