K-9 officer sniffs out suspected heroin during traffic stop

Indiana State Police seized $150,000 in heroin after stopping a car for going 97 miles per hour.
Senior Trooper Fred Trammel stopped 26 yr old Pedro Burgos of Miami, Fl in his Chevrolet Impala for going 27 mph over the 70mph speed limit on I-65 near Remington, IN.
Senior Trooper Trammel and his K-9 partner, Rykr, searched the Burgos’ car. Rykr signaled a positive reaction.  Trooper Trammel found large amounts of suspected heroin.    It was duct taped in four packages and hidden in the back panel of the front passenger seat.Burgos was taken to Jasper County Jail  and charged with dealing narcotics, possession of narcotics and speeding.
