INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—A man who went missing over the weekend was found safe and reunited with family.

Tuesday, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department asked for the public’s help in locating 46-year-old Dongyue Yu, who was last seen at the Happy Hour Foot Spa near 86th Street and Township Line Road.

Yu was located Wednesday morning by concerned citizens, said police.

Yu has diminished mental capacity after being held and beaten at a Chinese prison for 17 years, stated an IMPD report. According to his sister, the U.S. government gave her and her brother political refugee status to enter the U.S. His sister said he has wandered off before.

According to a police report, a woman called police Tuesday night to report Yu was sitting on her back patio all day.  Officers arrived to the scene and brought Yu back to his sister.
