Another hot one today but there is some relief from the heat heading our way? Highs today will once again hit the low 90s with clouds building into the afternoon. A cold front is located along the Canadian-US border this morning and will push through Wisconsin today. Strong storms will fire just ahead of this front over the course of the day and especially
during the hottest part of the day. Parts of the state are included in today’s severe risk area.
For Indianapolis and the surrounding area, you can expect another hot day with temperatures topping 90 degrees for the fourth straight day. Isolated rain
will be possible today and the chance for rain will continue into the overnight hours as well as the cold front pulls through the state. Please remember to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if outside for long periods of time today.
For the weekend expect some rain around as you wake up on Saturday morning. Things should dry out for places north of Bloomington after about 11 AM. The current stretch of 90 degree weather will also likely be snapped with a high in the mid to upper 80s. Sunday highs should hit the mid 80s.
For next week Monday could be a washout. Tuesday will see highs in the upper 80s. Another cold front arrives on Wednesday with temperatures mid to late week falling to the low 80s. Enjoy your day!
