Crash closes part of I-70 in Hancock County

HANCOCK COUNTY – A jackknifed semi caused traffic headaches near the Mt. Comfort road exit Monday morning.

The crash happened around 7 a.m., blocking both westbound and eastbound traffic. Westbound lanes reopened just before 9 a.m. Eastbound lanes remained closed, though crews hoped to have them ready to go by 9:30 a.m.

The crash remains under investigation.
